Malaysia Kitchen launches at Taste Of Auckland

Malaysia Kitchen was launched into New Zealand in truly delicious style at the Taste of Auckland festival in November 2010.

The Malaysia Kitchen stand was one of the highlights of the show. It featured Malaysia Kitchen ambassadors Masterchef Australia 2010 winner Adam Liaw, celebrity foodie and President of the NZ Guild of Food Writers Lauraine Jacobs, as well as several of Auckland’s top Malaysian chefs cooking traditional Malaysian dishes in an attention-grabbing culinary showcase.Cultural dance group Rentak also entertained visitors to the site with a variety of Malaysian traditional dances throughout the weekend.

Taste of Auckland was just the first event of many to come as Malaysia Kitchen brings the rich diversity and heritage of Malaysian cuisine to Kiwi taste buds. Keep watching this space for more exciting activities!
